what is neutralization reaction? with example.

A neutralization reaction is when an acid and a base react to form water and a salt and involves the combination of H+ ions and OH- ions to generate water. The neutralization of a strong acid and strong base has a pH equal to 7.  For example when HCl (Hydrochloric acid), a strong acid, reacts with NaOH, a strong base, the resulting salt is sodium chloride and water.
Saturated solutions is the chemical solution containing the maximum concentration of a solute dissolved in the solvent. The additional solute will not dissolve in a saturated solution. Ex :- Sugar solution.

What are Colloids or Colloidal Solution?

Colloidal solutions, or colloidal suspensions, are nothing but a mixture in which the substances are regularly suspended in a fluid. A colloid is a very tiny and small material that is spread out uniformly all through another substance.  What do you mean by Colloids?   Colloids are mixtures in which microscopically dispersed insoluble particles of one substance are suspended in another substance. The size of the suspended particles in a colloid can range from 1 to 1000 nanometres (10-9 metres).

What is Tyndall effect? Explain with an example.

'Tyndall effect, also called Tyndall phenomenon, scattering of a beam of light by a medium containing small suspended particles.' Ex - Smoke or Dust in a room, which makes visible a light beam entering a window.  Short-wavelength blue light is scattered more strongly than long-wavelength red light. The Tyndall effect occurs from particles roughly the same size as the wavelength of light. The effect is named for the 19th-century British physicist John Tyndall, who first studied it extensively.                                            or 'The scattering of light by particles in its path is called Tyndall effect.' When a beam of light enters a smoke-filled dark room through a small hole, then its path becomes visible to us. The tiny dust particles present in the air of room scatter the beam of light all around the room. Thus, scattering of light makes the particles visible. Tyndall effect can also be observed when sunlight passes through a canopy of a dense forest. Here

What is matter?

The term matter refers to anything that occupies space and has mass. it is made up of tiny particles called atoms. There are three states of matter.  Solid Liquid Gas For example pen, pencil, toothbrush, water, milk are matters as well as car, bus, bicycle is also a matter. So matter is considered as a living thing and a non-living thing.
