what is neutralization reaction? with example.

A neutralization reaction is when an acid and a base react to form water and a salt and involves the combination of H+ ions and OH- ions to generate water. The neutralization of a strong acid and strong base has a pH equal to 7.  For example when HCl (Hydrochloric acid), a strong acid, reacts with NaOH, a strong base, the resulting salt is sodium chloride and water.

What happens when the temperature of the solids increase?

Answer : When we increase the temperature of the solid, we are giving energy to it.  That energy is utilized in increasing the kinetic energy of the particles and as a  result, the speed of the particles is increased and they vibrate more freely. Once the particles overcome the force of attraction between them they start moving more freely.
